Magdeburg is connected to the national main road network via two autobahns.
The A14 leads to Magdeburg from the south (Leipzig–Halle). The A2 connects to Berlin in the east and Duisburg, Essen, Dortmund, Hannover, and Wolfsburg in the west. Please also check the remarks about parking near campus on the Venue page.

Magdeburg is well-connected in the long-distance network of Deutsche Bahn AG. There are connections to many major German cities several times a day, usually every 1-2 hours.
The ICE, EC or IC trains stop only at Magdeburg Central Station. In international traffic, Magdeburg is integrated via switches in Halle/Leipzig and Hannover/Braunschweig to the main long distance and sprinter ICE lines.
