To ULM by public transportation
The journey to Ulm by train is fast and easy. Whether by ICE, IC/EC or NZ or by regional train from Lake Constance, from the Allgäu, from the Swabian Alb or from Bavarian Swabia.
The airports of Stuttgart (80 km), Munich (160 km) or Memmingen (60 km) are also within easy reach.
To ULM by car
Reaching Ulm by road is easy. The city on the Danube is conveniently located on the A8 motorway (Stuttgart – Munich) and the A7 motorway (Würzburg – Füssen).
To VENUE by public transportation
Participants going by train will arrive at Ulm main station (Hauptbahnhof). From there, take tram line STR 2 in the direction Science Park II and get off at Universität Süd or Technische Hochschule. Due to ongoing construction works around the main railway station, we strongly recommend checking the latest local transport information shortly before your arrival:

To VENUE by car
Parking directly around the university buildings on Albert-Einstein-Allee is limited, but there is a public car park Helmholtzstrasse P40 and P41 just a short walk from the buildings. This parking area offers 24/7 paid parking. Please note that Ulm’s city center is an environmental zone, so cars need a valid green emissions sticker to enter and park in this area.
