Conference Venue
Scientific events will take place in two buildings on the central campus of the University, right in the midle of the city centre. The registration desk is located at the main entrance of building K2 (Keplerstraße 17, 70174 Stuttgart). The conference venue is in walking distance to Stuttgart main railway station and can also be easily reached by public transportation. Bus lines 2 and 42 stop right next to the building at station Katharinenhospital. There are other stops for other lines in walking distance. See the campus map on the Venue page for details.
Certificate of Participation
All participants will receive a certificate of participation via the online submission system after the conference.
Information Point
There will be an information point throughout the week at the registration desk.
Coffee Breaks
Coffee, tea, soft drinks, fruit and biscuits are served during all coffee breaks at multiple locations in buildings KI and KII. Follow the sign posts to your closest coffee desk.
Conference App
The Conference4me smartphone app provides you with the most comfortable tool for planning your participation at GAMM 2026.
The app is available for Android, iOS, Windows Phone. To download the mobile app, please visit the app store of your mobile device.
Once downloaded, you can find the conference by searching for “GAMM 2026” and then browse the complete program directly from your phone or tablet and create your very own agenda on the fly.
Please ensure to regularly update the conference agenda to stay up to date (Menu -> Program -> Three dots top right -> Update Agenda).
Conference Photos and Videos
We would like to point out that photos and videos will be taken on behalf of the GAMM during the Annual Meeting. These recordings may be published as part of the GAMM’s press and public relations work, e.g., on the website, in social media or within print products.
Conference Staff
The conference team members can be found at the registration desk and Information Point, and are present throughout the conference week. They can easily be recognized by their T-Shirts indicating their staff status. Do not hesitate to approach them with queries! They will gladly assist you. Technical staff assistants are present in all lecture rooms.
Internet Access
The “eduroam” network is available on the entire campus. Participants, who do not have an eduroam account, can log into the “uni-stuttgart-open” network. After connecting for the first time, users are automatically redirected to a login portal where they must confirm the ICT terms and conditions. This confirmation activates Internet access for the next eight hours; after that the process needs to be repeated.
Latest Program Changes
Latest changes to the program will be communicated at the venue on the daily programs at the rooms, and through the conference app. Additionally, the electronic versions of the Daily Scientific Program and Book of Abstracts will be frequently updated.
Lost & Found
Participants can collect their lost items or leave found items at the registration desk.
Lunch
You can find several Lunch-Spots near the conference venue.
In addition to the many restaurants near the venue, food trucks will also be available at nearby locations.
Medical Service
Throughout the week, there will be medical emergency staff at the venue. You will get immediate help at the registration desk.
Name Badge
Participants are asked to wear and display their name badge at all times at the conference venue and social events.
Additional tickets, depending on the purchased options for the conference dinner, YAMM Lunch and Welcome Reception are enclosed in the conference envelope or marked on the badges.
Parking
There are limited parking spaces available on the campus of the University, and parking permits are required to use them. Please contact the conference office for details.

Registration Counters:
- Pre-Registrations: Please note that all registration documents have been prepared for pre-registered participants and sorted by last name. Therefore, when approaching the appropriate registration counter, make sure to clearly state your last name (family name) under which you have registered. Please have your confirmation letter and ID close at hand.
- On-Site Registration / Open Payments: For participants registering and paying their registration fees on-site or with an outstanding payment.
Room Numbering
The two main lecture halls (Hörsaal) are those with the numbering M 17.01 and M 17.02 (located in the basement of building K2). They will host all plenary events.
The seminar rooms are located in buildings K1 and K2 and numbered M 11.xy or M 17.yy with x and y indicating the floor and room number, respectively (except KII, floor 10). Here, you can find an overview.
Please note the usage of the elevators: First enter your destination floor on one of the terminals in front of the elevators. The terminal will display the elevator number that brings you to the desired floor. It is not possible to change the floor from within the elevators.
In order to guarantee good accessibility, signposts display the buildings together with their rooms, and indicate availability of coffee desks, in addition, green beach flags with the GAMM logo are located at the main entrances of all important buildings.
Streaming
The opening and closing, all plenary lectures, the Ludwig Prandtl memorial lecture, and the Richard von Mises award lecture(s) will be streamed from M 17.01 to M 17.02. Interaction from M 17.02 will be limited, though.

From the railway station: Those who will arrive by IC/ICE trains should take the destination Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof and then walk to the conference venue or take the bus line 42 in direction Erwin-Schoettle-Platz and stop at Katharinenhospital.
